Pommerade wine is made in the Château de Triac in the valley of the Charente River. This property belongs to the Tiffon Cognac House, an award-winning family business with 150 years of tradition. It is famous for the high-quality wines produced here and traditional production methods handed down from generation to generation.
This wine is made for the needs of the Braastad family managing the cognac house, guests of the Château de Triac and friends of the house. Unlike cognacs produced by Tiffon, it cannot be found in wide distribution, and its production is very limited (only 5,500 bottles in 2016). Thanks to Pommerade, you can feel like sitting at a family table in Château de Triac and draw from the spirit of this extraordinary place.
Pommerade 2016 is a truly unusual wine, made in a traditional style. You can smell the aromas of ripe forest fruits and cranberries in your nose. In the mouth you will feel a well-structured, full and deep wine with a smooth tannin. Oak notes delicately complement the fruity notes and bring a delicious coffee aftertaste.
